Wouldn't it be great if you could know what people are thinking and saying about your videos? Well, now you can...

If you choose to activate the Web Video Player's share button, you now have the option to also turn on the new "Email Notification" feature in your player's configuration:

When this option is activated, you will receive an email message any time someone recommends one of your videos via the share button. The email you receive will contain the video player name, a URL where you can view it, and the message that was included. For example:

This can be a really useful feature. It's a great way to find out things such as:

• What people like/dislike about your products, services and videos
• Where you can make improvements
• What people really want (so you can give it to them)

Things to keep in mind regarding this new email notification feature:

• Because of privacy concerns, our system does not save or forward the email addresses of either the sender or the recipient. You will only receive the message that was sent.
• The default setting for each player is "No." You'll need to specify "Yes" in the configuration if you'd like this activated.
• This feature is available for your existing players, but you will need to edit each configuration and turn the setting on if you'd like to receive notification for those players.
• The notification will be sent to the email address associated with your WVZ member account. We thought about adding the option to have it sent to other(s). If this is something you need, please let us know and we'll reconsider it.
