[WVZ Alert] A must watch: "How to Film a Video"

Joe's semi-weekly emailing to subscribers of
'WebVideoZone Alerts' and 'The HotBizz Report'

November 8, 2006

Greetings from the wet and soggy WVZ home office --

A fellow WVZer brought this to my attention in the forum the other day. Whether you're currently producing videos for the web, or even if you're just thinking about it, you really need to watch "How to Film a Video" by Tim Carter.

Tim is a bit of a modern day Renaissance man. Sort of a "jack of all trades" whose diverse skills qualify him as a talented home builder, DIY renovation specialist, syndicated newspaper columnist, and of course, internet video producer.

In this fun and informative video, Tim demonstrates different equipment and techniques that will help you to quickly create better video for the web (or anywhere, for that matter).

With eight years of network television experience, Tim knows what he's talking about. Watch and learn as he shares some useful tips and tricks that can help anyone create more professional and entertaining videos:

"Hello everyone, KJ here and I joined yesterday. Following is my first 24 hour experience with WVP:

I needed to get my promotional video for my book up on my site asap so I got to work right way with the tutorials. Result: by evening, I had encoded my WMV into FLV using SUPER (watching the tutorial) and my video went "Live".

Wow! Talk about simple.

This is truly a wonderful video player and I'm looking forward to exploring ways of using it. Thanks Joe!"
