What people see when they 'Tell a Friend' about your video
Now, when people share your video using your player's 'Tell a Friend' button, you can choose to display additional information along with your video. Here's how it works... As a Silver or Gold WebVideoZone member, you can now make the 'Tell a Friend' viral button work even harder for you. When you create or edit an existing Web Video Player™ configuration, you will see these new options in the 'Tell a Friend' section:
Let's take a closer look at what these new features do... 1. Link to Your Site - add a link to a web page where you will want to direct viewers for more information. 2. Link Title - this is the text that will be associate with the link. It will also be displayed in the browser's title bar:
3. Text Message - enter a brief message that provides more information about your video, web site or anything else that will be of interest to the viewer. You can include basic HTML and additional links here as well (but no scripts). New Viral Features - Working ExampleAll of this information you provide will be seen when people share your video using the 'Tell a Friend' button and page. Let's use a real video as an example:
If you click on the 'Tell a Friend' button above, you are taken to this video's unique Tell a Friend page. At this page, you are presented with a short form for the purpose of referring the video to someone else. When you submit the form, an email is sent to your friend with your recommendation. If your friend clicks on the referral link in the email message, the recommended video page will load in your friend's browser. And this is where the additional information you provide about your video will be displayed:
