Viral features of The Web Video Player™ at work
I was checking my site logs yesterday (because that's what traffic-obsessive owners of new web sites do), and I noticed a few hits from a web site I hadn't heard of before, CoBrandit.com. So I hopped over there to see what was going on, and staring me in the face at the top of their home page was this:
Well, wasn't that a pleasant surprise! CoBrandit's slogan is "Video about people, brands and culture." Apparently, The Web Video Player™ caught their attention (via the site of WVZ member, Kevin Nalty), and they decided to utilize one of the player's viral features, the "Add to Site" button. So now, the WVZ introductory video is displaying on CoBrandit.com. I didn't ask them to do it. They just followed the simple instructions on the "Add to Site" page, and "PRESTO!" - it appeared. When people watch my video on their site, they may be tempted to click on the Logo Image or Exit Image displayed in that particular player configuration - both of which will send visitors my way. Free, targeted, word-of-mouth, viral traffic. Do you think some of your visitors might have an interest in adding your videos to their sites? If so, The Web Video Player™ is the tool that can make it happen. (Thanks, CoBrandit!)
