The WVZ Player's new "Timed Logo" feature lets you add clickable call-to-action images that load on cue

The WebVideoZone Player was developed with internet marketers in mind. That's why one of its most powerful features is its ability to help you create interactive web videos that stimulate interest and encourage action...

For example, the Logo Image feature of the WebVideoZone Player allows you to have a clickable image/logo display while your video plays (e.g., a "buy now" button, your company logo, a "click for more info" button, etc.).

All you have to do is specify the logo image, where to have it appear (e.g., "top-right" of video player), the click-through URL, and page target. For more on this, see points K-N in the WVZ Player overview.

Now, you can also choose to specify when to have the Logo Image appear, as well as how long it should remain visible. Here's a working example of the Timed Logo feature in action:

Did you notice the small "Click Here to Buy Now!" graphic that appeared in the top-right corner of the screen? That was the Timed Logo Image. You can use any image you'd like. Create your own, or choose from among the dozens of custom graphics in the logo image gallery.

In the WVZ Player Maker, there are two new settings (circled in orange below)...

  1. Logo Start - This is where you indicate the time, in seconds, when you'd like the logo to first appear. In the demo video above, the logo first fades-in at the 12 second mark.
  2. Logo Duration - How long would you like the logo to remain visible? For the demo, the logo stays on top of the video for 10 seconds, and then fades out. If you leave this blank, the logo will be visible for the remainder of the time the video plays.

No Video Editing Required

You can add, change, or remove the logo graphic without having to edit the video file itself. When you make changes to your player in your WVZ account, it automatically updates in real-time on all the sites where your video appears.

This is a useful tool for implementing a delayed "call to action" that encourages your viewers to do something on cue, at a specific time in your video.

Use the Timed Logo feature to ask visitors to buy now, request more information, or go to another web page. Remember, you can have the link point to any web page - not just those on your site - or you can even have it point to a specific product SKU in your site's store front (like the "buy now" button link in the demo video).

Just use your imagination. The possibilities are endless...
