Sony Vegas (NLE video editing program)
Sony Vegas is a non-linear editing (NLE) system produced by Sony Media Software. It is currently only available for use with computers running Microsoft Windows 2000/XP. It features realtime multitrack video and audio editing on unlimited tracks, Sony Vegas is available in different packages, depending upon the features included, and how it is bundled. For example, Sony Vegas Movie Studio is the consumer level version, and shares the same interface and underlying code base as the professional Vegas version. Also available is Sony Vegas + DVD, which bundles the DVD authoring software DVD Architect together with the the Vegas NLE software.
