Color Temperature
The color temperature of light is simply a way of measuring the quality of a light source. "Visible light" is commonly described by its color temperature, as measured in degrees Kelvin (K). It explains why recorded video sometimes has yellow-orange cast in incandescent lighting, and a bluish cast in fluorescent lighting. Different light sources emit light at different color temperatures, resulting in different color casts seen in recorded video.
