Webcast (Webcasting, Webcasters)
A webcast is a non-interactive live broadcast over the web. "Webcast" derives from the words "web" and "broadcast." It uses streaming media technology to distribute audio and/or video to multiple listeners or viewers at the same time. Webcasting technology has made it cheap and easy for smaller, independent media producers to thrive online. Popularity in webcasts relating to the internet, computers, technology, and news is soaring, and new webcast shows are launching daily.
